As a Product Manager at City Innovations, you will play a pivotal role in one of our key ventures, focused on building a cutting-edge SaaS solution in the affiliate marketing industry. Your primary responsibility is to manage the product lifecycle from ideation to execution, ensuring our solutions meet client needs and drive business success. Utilizing key City Innovations frameworks such as Lean Canvas, Jobs to Be Done (JTBD), Market Validation Funnel, Google Design Sprints, and Agile, you will deliver sustainable and scalable results.


In this crucial role, you will not only develop and execute strategic product plans but also create narratives that resonate with customers, investors, and key stakeholders. Your ability to tell a powerful story will shape the perception and success of our products, fostering long-term relationships and driving client satisfaction through proactive engagement and strategic guidance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's goals and market needs. Create compelling narratives that effectively convey the vision, value proposition, and strategic goals of the SaaS solution.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for our corporate partner, leading the strategic and operational aspects of product delivery from inception to completion. Foster strong client relationships through proactive engagement and strategic guidance.
  • Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, validate product ideas, and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to define product requirements and ensure alignment across the organization.
  • Roadmap Management: Create and maintain a product roadmap that prioritizes features based on business goals, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Project Management: Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to manage deliverables, assist with change orders, pricing, and delivery.
  • User-Centric Approach: Advocate for the customer by understanding their needs, gathering feedback, and ensuring that user experience is at the forefront of product decisions.
  • Metrics and KPIs: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience within delivery or product management, with a proven track record of successful project execution and client management.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, Human Centered Design or a related field a plus.
  • Proficiency in using frameworks such as Lean Canvas, Jobs to Be Done, Market Validation Funnel, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • Experience in the affiliate or direct marketing industry is preferred but not required.


Work Environment - Office

In this role, your primary work environment will be your home office, complemented by our co-working space in Grand Rapids, MI. Our teams work virtually but co-work is expected between 9am to 5pm Eastern.

$140,000 - $160,000 per year
