 Occupational Therapy Lead Responsibilities:

 


  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services, including evaluations, goal setting, treatment planning, implementation, and progress monitoring.
  • Lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and execute personalized therapy plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
  • Engage with families and caregivers, offering guidance and support while ensuring effective communication and understanding of therapy objectives.
  • Supervise and mentor therapy assistants and less experienced therapists, ensuring that all aspects of patient care are delivered effectively, consistently, and in alignment with best practices.
  • Drive the culture of excellence by demonstrating flexibility, empathy, and enthusiasm in all interactions and fostering a positive team dynamic.
  • Participate in and lead professional development initiatives, team training, and ensure the team stays current with the latest best practices in occupational therapy.
  • Actively contribute to the growth and development of the occupational therapy program by identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for continuous enhancement.

 

Qualifications:


  • Experienced Occupational Therapists: Must have extensive experience in pediatric occupational therapy with a strong background in case management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and supervision of therapy assistants.
  • Experienced Occupational Therapy Assistants: Must have extensive experience in pediatric occupational therapy with a strong background in case management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
