Description

The Events Manager is an important part of our small Marketing team and the operational backbone of our events program–ensuring every tradeshow and webinar runs smoothly, our team is prepared, and our investment in events delivers measurable results. The Events Manager primarily works remotely, but must also be in proximity to the Draper, Utah office to manage inventory and shipping tasks there when needed. This is a part-time role (25–30 hours per week, depending on the candidate's preference and availability), with the potential to grow into a full-time position as responsibilities expand.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the master list of ~30 annual tradeshows, including sponsorship details, timelines, and requirements 
  • Coordinate and track all event-related tasks across teams, ensuring deadlines are met and nothing falls through the cracks
  • Bring expertise to continuously improve Cidi Labs tradeshow presence, including booth setup, swag, and lead generation activities
  • Manage tradeshow inventory (booth assets, swag, collateral) and ensure materials are stocked, organized, and event-ready
  • Coordinate all event shipments from the Draper office to and from conferences, as well as occasional customer gifts and prizes
  • Prepare internal event attendees with the materials, information, and support they need to be successful on site
  • Partner with our VP of Finance and Strategy to track and evaluate event ROI to inform future decisions
  • Manage logistics for our very successful webinar program (2/month), including setup in Zoom and HubSpot, presenter coordination, and post-event follow-up
  • Support HubSpot marketing operations (lists, workflows, reporting) related to events and webinars
  • Throughout all duties, apply a continuous growth mindset and seek opportunities for improved efficiency, quality, scalability, and cost effectiveness 
  • Assist the marketing team with other projects as needed and mutually agreed upon


What You’ll Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • 2+ years of experience in event coordination, marketing operations, or similar
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Strong follow-through–you don’t let things drop
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace and Zoom; experience with HubSpot, Canva and other marketing tools is a plus
  • Based near Draper, Utah for occasional inventory and shipping needs

Work Environment

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, and willing to travel to 1 or more events per year. Salary

$50,000 - $60,000 per year
