Job Overview

Cici's Pizza is seeking friendly and energetic Cashier / Guest Greeters to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling transactions and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food service, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in food preparation, POS systems, or the food industry is a plus but not required; training will be provided. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic restaurant setting. You will be the first person many guests meet, so a positive attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating or ordering processes
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for transactions
• Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
• Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks as needed, maintaining food safety standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitation duties
• Ensure quick and efficient service during peak hours to minimize wait times
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Support team members in various restaurant operations to ensure smooth workflow
• Work nights and weekends as required
• Restock stations and assist with light cleaning as needed
• Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude
• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
• Operate the cash register and handle payments accurately
• Explain the buffet, promotions, and answer guest questions
• Stay on top of lobby and buffet tasks so the restaurant stays clean and organized

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurant, or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and sales upselling
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods
• Experience in serving, cashiering, or customer service roles will be beneficial in providing an exceptional guest experience
• Must be a team player and work well with others
• Cashier or cash handling experience is a plus
• Friendly and outgoing personality with strong customer service focus
• Reliable and dependable
• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Valid food handlers card or ability to obtain one
• Black non slip shoes
• Able to stand on your feet for extended periods
• At least 16 years of age
