Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and internal systems
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies
- Assist with audits and documentation requirements
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
Payroll & Financial Support
- Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping reviews, and data validation
- Coordinate with finance and leadership to ensure payroll accuracy and timely processing
- Maintain and organize payroll records, reports, and supporting documentation
- Support financial document upkeep related to employee compensation, reimbursements, and benefits
- Assist in tracking labor costs, reports, and internal documentation as needed
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and documentation
- Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews and final paperwork
- Track employee status changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations
Recruiting Support
- Post job openings and manage applicant tracking systems
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers
- Assist with background checks and offer letter preparation
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Support internal communications and HR initiatives
- Assist with training sessions, company meetings, and employee events
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, payroll, and benefits
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare HR and payroll-related reports and track key metrics
- Support compliance with wage and hour regulations and internal policies
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of HR, payroll, administrative, or related experience
- Associate degree, HR certification, or equivalent work experience preferred (Bachelor’s degree not required)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems such as ADP or Gusto preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle sensitive financial and employee data with discretion
