Description

Chip Theory Games is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-time Customer Support Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the front line of defense for our users, primarily answering, troubleshooting, and resolving inbound customer inquiries through our ticketing system. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone who loves problem-solving, writes clearly, and enjoys helping others without the pressure of back-to-back phone calls. This position will also welcome guests and do basic office tasks when needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ticket Management: Monitor, prioritize, and respond to tickets, which may be high volume at times.
  • Problem Solving: Assess customer issues, guide customers through replacement processes, and provide solutions where available.
  • Documentation: Accurately document customer interactions, refunds, and order alterations and cancellations.
  • Knowledge Base Utilization: Reference internal training materials and help articles to ensure accurate and consistent responses.
  • Front End Reception: Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and vendors warmly as they arrive at the office. Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and packages,


Qualifications & Skills

  • Communication: Well written communication skills with an eye for grammar, tone, and clarity. 
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable learning new software quickly. Previous experience using a ticketing system is a major plus, but not required.
  • Empathy & Patience: A genuine desire to help people and the ability to remain calm and positive under pressure.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a queue of tickets in a reasonable response time.
  • Experience: Customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and maintains a high level of confidentiality.


Wage and Benefits: $XX/hr - 20 hours per week, 40 hours per pay period

$18 - $20 per hour
