At Children's Promise Center, we're seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Center Director to lead our center and team while supporting our mission of providing a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered learning environment for children and families.

This is an opportunity for a strong, people-focused leader who can balance staff leadership, family relationships, center operations, and quality early childhood programming while bringing a heart for ministry to their work.

You must be able to:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the center and ensure a safe, nurturing, faith-centered environment.
• Hire, train, coach, and support teachers and staff while building a positive team culture.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and applicable accreditation standards.
• Support high-quality, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with families and respond professionally to questions and concerns.
• Partner with staff and leadership to maintain a cohesive, welcoming center community.
• Oversee enrollment, staffing, budgets, scheduling, and other administrative responsibilities.
• Monitor center quality and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Stay current on early childhood best practices, regulations, and trends.
• Serve as a positive role model for staff, children, and families.

Required Credentials:

• Associate’s degree (AA) in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Childcare Center Director.
• Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Credentials:

• Experience working with New Mexico childcare licensing regulations.
• Additional early childhood education or leadership credentials.
