Job Summary
CHEFY is seeking a reliable and skilled Breakfast/Lunch Cook to join our team at a privately owned business. The ideal candidate has experience preparing high-quality breakfast and lunch items, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in consistency, cleanliness, and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Set up and stock kitchen stations with necessary supplies and ingredients
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner during peak hours
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times
- Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation
- Assist with inventory management, food storage, and minimizing waste
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or breakfast cook preferred
- Knowledge of breakfast and lunch food preparation techniques
- Ability to work early morning shifts consistently
- Strong time-management and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain)
