Chefmeals LLC is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Camp Cook to join our team. As the Lead Camp Cook, you will manage and oversee a small kitchen team (2 people) work under the direction of the Founder to create delicious and nutritious meals for our campers. This is a full-time position Seasonal Positions( 8-10 weeks) located in [location], with a competitive salary range of $18 to $21 per hour. Summer work will be a contract to reflect all services. Ideally will be contracted a weekly rate.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist the Camp Chef in planning and preparing menus for camp meals

- Lead a team of Kitchen Assistance in preparing and serving meals to campers

- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times

- Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of food supplies

- Provide guidance and training to camp kitchen staff

- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a cook or chef in a camp or similar setting

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations and food allergies

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure working in face paced kitchen with numerous hours on your feet in hot/cold kitchen conditions.

- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed-(Sunday Dinner Service for Staff)
