Chefmeals LLC is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Phillipsburg, NJ and Orefield, PA. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our chefs and kitchen staff in preparing delicious and high-quality meals for our customers. This is a part-time position with a competitive salary range of $15 to $16 per hour.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces

- Help with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and work areas

- Organize and stock kitchen supplies and ingredients

- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations

- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries

- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

**Requirements:**

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

- Availability to work evenings and weekends
