Job Title: Culinary Internship

Location: Phillipsburg, Blairstown, Stillwater(New Jersey Camp Sites), Orefield ( Lehigh Valley Pa), Horsham Pa

Salary Range: $400 to $600 per paid stipend

Job Overview:

As a culinary internship at Chefmeals LLC, you will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of a highly efficient kitchen using systems and being mentored by our skilled foodservice team. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic culinary environment.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the culinary team in preparing and cooking meals according to recipes and food safety standards

- Learn how to use kitchen equipment and tools effectively

- Help with food preparation, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling dishes

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies

- Participate in menu planning and development under the guidance of the chefs

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Requirements:

- Currently enrolled in a culinary arts program, related field or personal learning

- Passion for food and cooking

- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
