Our business was initially based in Phillipsburg NJ relocated to Hellertown, PA in Nov 2020 in the Lehigh Valley.In April 2024, Chefmeals has moved back to Phillipsburg NJ We offer a wide range of services, including chapter house food service management, personal chef, camp food service management, take out/delivery restaurant, catering, food truck operation, and Chef consulting. Chefmeals LLC is seeking a passionate and skilled Camp Chef to join our team in Phillipsburg, NJ. As a Camp Chef, you will be responsible for managing everyday operations with support staff to ensure the highest quality meals are prepared for our campers. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $20 to $23 per hour.

**Responsibilities:**

- Plan and prepare nutritious and delicious meals for campers and staff

- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness

- Supervise kitchen staff and delegate tasks as needed

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Collaborate with camp management to create menus that meet dietary restrictions and preferences

- Provide excellent customer service and address any food-related concerns

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a camp or similar setting

- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong communication and leadership skills

- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
