The Role
As a Retail Associate at the Chattanooga Lookouts, you will be responsible for assisting customers in our retail store, providing them with a positive shopping experience. You will engage with fans, manage merchandise displays, and ensure that the store is well-stocked and organized. Your contributions will enhance the overall experience for our guests during events and games.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
- Restock merchandise as needed and keep the store clean and tidy.
- Provide information about products and promotions to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation during busy events.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of sports merchandise and fan culture.
- Experience with cash register systems or point of sale technology.
Salary
$7.25 - $7.25 per hour
