We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our home health and hospice program and services. You will establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, nursing facilities, discharge planners, and other potential referral sources. Your goal will be to identify and enroll eligible admissions within your assigned territory or accounts in a timely manner.


Responsibilities:

  • Promote our home health and hospice program and services to healthcare professionals and potential referral sources in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, medical professionals, hospitals, nursing facilities, and discharge planners through regular visits, presentations, and effective communication.
  • Identify and pursue new admissions within the community, focusing on potential referrals for home health and hospice services.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to reach and exceed enrollment goals.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our program offerings, including the benefits and features, to effectively educate potential referral sources and address any inquiries or concerns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and competitors' offerings to provide accurate information and market insights.
  • Utilize strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage and prioritize your territory effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and practices in all sales and marketing activities.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate a smooth transition for enrolled admissions.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred. Candidates with relevant experience will also be considered. Minimum one (1) year of sales or marketing experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned geographic area and possess reliable transportation.
  • Strong collaborative and productive marketing skills, fostering positive relationships with customers, referral sources, and the community.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in computer applications.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with accepted professional standards and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary setting.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and an insured automobile in accordance with state law and in good working order for regular off-site appointments.


Commission structure:

  • Per Patient admitted per designated Home Health Medicare, Hospice Medicare or VA TriWest account - ($50/per admission)
  • Can earn up to 3-5x salary in commission and bonuses
