Certified Nursing Assistants are responsible for many patient care tasks to ensure that each patient receives the comprehensive and personalized care they need.
1. Provide appropriate and safe technique in personal hygiene and grooming to the elderly at their residence under the supervision of a registered nurse.
2. Service may include bed, bath, sponge, oral hygiene or other task Agency chooses to have you perform in accordance with 97.298 and the rights of the elderly.
3. Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, patient/family and referring physician or Agency.
4. Support field nursing staff as appropriate. 5. Timely documentation for both home health and hospice visits (24 hour deadline for documentation completion) 6. Abiding by aide care plans given by RNs and coordination of care between all clinicians involved in care
