Description

Job Responsibilities:


  • Primarily responsible for managing and reconciling open chargebacks/disputes on client accounts. 
  • Liaise between accounts team, internal departments and customers regarding their merchant accounts.
  • Partner with internal departments (Sales, accountant managers, operations, etc.) to highlight and resolve open chargebacks. 
  • Reach out to internal departments for assistance and rapid response regarding discrepancies with chargebacks. 
  • Research and test merchant accounts descriptors.
  • Proper follow up with customers to resolve outstanding disputes and open tasks such as merchant portal login issues. 
  • Request and validate backup paperwork from customers regarding their merchant accounts and chargebacks.
  • Data entry

Competencies

  • Strong Excel skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Education and Experience


  • BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but not required
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service, operational, or administrative experience


Physical Requirements


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer screen
  • Must be able to regularly lift at least 15 lbs at times


Work Location 

  • Mainly remote (>90%), though only hiring candidates living in Orange County and the Greater Los Angeles area
  • Occasional in-person meetings or travel for business
  • Monthly team meet ups
