Job Opportunity: Senior Consultant / Subject Matter Expert – Legal Services
changeforce is seeking an experienced legal professional to join our team as a Senior Consultant/Subject Matter Expert. This is a flexible, performance-based role ideal for an individual looking to leverage their deep industry expertise in a consulting and training capacity while maintaining other professional commitments.
About the Role
This is a part-time, highly flexible position with no specific requirement for the amount of time devoted to the role. It is designed for those who want to stay active in the legal profession through high-level advisory and training services. Candidates can maintain a parallel source of income and we will work together to identify "swim lanes" that minimize any risk of conflict with changeforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Delivery: Participate directly in the delivery of training and advisory services to our clients, including some or all of the following:
- Business Audit: marketing, sales, org design, revenue and profit, etc.
- growth consulting
- marketing strategy
- pitch and sales strategy
- brand and positioning
- Leader coaching
- Team development
- M&A readiness
- Org design, especially sales and marketing teams
- executive and leadership coaching
- Business Development: While not mandatory, for those consultants who have a network and/or an interest in business development, changeforce has a robust commission structure.
- Introduce prospects to Changeforce at the top of the sales funnel
- Assist in various business development activities whether for the prospect they introduced or other prospects that the company is pursuing
- Help sustain and grow current changeforce clients through excellent client service and “ears to the ground” listening to uncover new opportunities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a likely candidate who possesses one or more of the following backgrounds:
- Former or current Law Firm Partner or Attorney.
- In-house Counsel.
- Director of Business Development or Marketing for a law firm.
- Extensive experience in training, consulting, or coaching law firms.

Compensation
This is a contract-based role (not full time employment) with competitive incentives:
- Service Delivery: competitive hourly rates for leading and/or participating in service delivery.
- Business Development: 5% to 15% of net fee for originating leads and/or participating in successful business development activities. (Potentially shared with other team members based on role)
