Position Summary
Centrillium Protein is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced food production environment. The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily production operations.
- Ensure production lines are set up and ready to begin on schedule.
- Assign work, monitor productivity, and adjust staffing as needed.
- Ensure daily production, quality, and efficiency goals are met.
- Maintain compliance with USDA regulations, HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and company food safety standards.
- Monitor product quality and address operational issues promptly.
- Enforce all safety policies and ensure employees use required PPE.
- Coach, train, and develop production employees.
- Address employee performance, attendance, and policy compliance.
- Coordinate with Maintenance to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete required daily documentation.
- Communicate production updates, staffing concerns, and operational issues to management.
- Promote continuous improvement and maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work environment.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Experience in USDA-inspected food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and food safety systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in cold, and noisy production environments.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed.
