Position Summary

Centrillium Protein is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced food production environment. The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily production operations.
• Ensure production lines are set up and ready to begin on schedule.
• Assign work, monitor productivity, and adjust staffing as needed.
• Ensure daily production, quality, and efficiency goals are met.
• Maintain compliance with USDA regulations, HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and company food safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and address operational issues promptly.
• Enforce all safety policies and ensure employees use required PPE.
• Coach, train, and develop production employees.
• Address employee performance, attendance, and policy compliance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required daily documentation.
• Communicate production updates, staffing concerns, and operational issues to management.
• Promote continuous improvement and maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work environment.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Experience in USDA-inspected food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and food safety systems.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in cold, and noisy production environments.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed.
