Our specialized doctors of physical therapy strive to identify the root causes of the problems our patients are experiencing then partner alongside them to develop an individualized and comprehensive treatment program to reach their goals.This is a safe place where we treat all genders and orientations over the age of 18. Our mission is to provide excellent comprehensive one-on-one evaluations and follow up sessions, tailored to your needs. We also offer virtual sessions. We are involved in several community outreach programs and local support groups related to all topics of pelvic health, sexual health, lymphedema and cancer survivorship.

COPE PT – Center of Pelvic Excellence Physical Therapy & Wellness – is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at our McKinney clinic, with occasional coverage at our Dallas location when needed.

Responsibilities


  • Perform insurance verification and authorization with a strong understanding of co-insurance, deductibles, and co-pays
  • Accurately calculate patient responsibility (co-insurance and deductibles) prior to visits
  • Greet patients and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist with scheduling and managing patient appointments
  • Support front desk operations, including phone and email communication
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation in our systems
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to maintain smooth workflow


Qualifications


  • Prior experience in insurance verification/authorization required
  • Knowledge of co-insurance vs. deductible vs. co-pay is a must
  • Ability to calculate co-insurance and deductibles confidently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage responsibilities independently
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with basic office software and scheduling systems (experience with EMR systems preferred)


Position Details


  • Primary Location: McKinney, TX
  • Occasional coverage at Dallas clinic as needed
  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience
