As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to execute a variety of environmental compliance projects with oversight from senior staff. You'll work closely with our project teams to overcome challenges and meet our clients' needs. Your role will involve supporting projects with report and deliverable preparation, with a focus on Colorado soil and groundwater site investigations. During your first year, you will: Review soil and groundwater analytical data. Assist with spill investigations and reporting. Prepare technical reports and client deliverables. Support field sampling events and remediation projects. Work alongside experienced scientists, geologists, and engineers to develop consulting skills.

Description

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Evaluate laboratory analytical reports, prepare data packets, and work under the guidance of more senior staff to propose next steps to achieve project goals 
  • Work closely with both field staff and office personnel to prepare reports and project deliverables 
  • Field support up to 20% of the time, typically within 2 hours of the Denver area.  Overnight travel not regularly anticipated. 


Required Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR) that meet Company’s Insurance qualifications to operate Company vehicle. 
  • General understanding of environmental sampling techniques. 
  • Familiarity with soil and groundwater investigations. 
  • Experience interpreting laboratory analytical data. 
  • Basic knowledge of environmental regulations. 
  • Ability to work with large environmental datasets. 


Preferred Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Oil and Gas experience 
  • Experience with Colorado (ECMC) spill reporting 
  • Experience with ArcGIS 


Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field of study 
  • 0-4 years of relevant industry experience
