The Opportunity


As a Regional Sales Representative, you will drive our poultry sales expansion throughout Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. You will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within your designated region and customer list. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. You will work closely with the sales team, marketing, and operations departments to ensure customer satisfaction and business success while adhering to budget constraints.


Your Impact


  • Execute strategic sales plans to consistently meet or exceed regional monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while staying ahead of industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Prepare quotes, onboard new customer orders, and manage requests accurately.
  • Cultivate long-term partnerships with existing and potential customers through regular site visits and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Proactively resolve customer inquiries and concerns to maintain high levels of engagement and retention.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and training to customers.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Provide field feedback to internal teams to refine product offerings and enhance the customer experience.
  • Partner with the marketing team on promotional campaigns and operations to ensure seamless product delivery and service.
  • Maintain strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and professional standards.


Your Experience, Skills, & Education


  • University degree or college diploma in Business, Agriculture, or a related field is an asset
  • 3+ years of successful sales experience, ideally within the poultry or agricultural sectors, with a history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Deep functional knowledge of the poultry industry, including current market trends, biological standards, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Strong relationship building skills and a customer first mindset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Resilient, optimistic, and professional; able to navigate challenges with a solutions-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly self-motivated and organized with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Comfortable with technology and proficient with sales management software and CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a valid passport for potential international travel.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the designated region to maintain a consistent field presence.
