Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Concrete Mixer Truck Driver responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete to construction sites. This involves operating a heavy diesel truck with an auxiliary mixer, maintaining concrete consistency, and delivering on time while following safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Operation & Safety: Operate a concrete mixer truck safely and efficiently according to regulations, including DOT laws.
• Inspections & Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues. Perform minor maintenance like checking fluids and tire pressure.
• Loading & Mixing: Load materials correctly and adjust concrete mix consistency as needed.
• Delivery & Unloading: Drive to sites, maneuver the truck, and operate the mixer and chute for unloading.
• Cleaning: Clean the mixer truck thoroughly after each delivery and shift.
• Documentation & Communication: Complete delivery logs and other paperwork. Communicate with dispatchers and site personnel.
• Customer Service: Provide professional service to customers
• Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including using PPE.

Qualifications & Skills

• Required:
• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• 2 years experience
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Physical ability for tasks like lifting chutes (up to 60lbs), climbing, and working in various weather.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good communication skills and teamwork ability.
• Preferred:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with concrete mixer trucks or heavy equipment.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with GPS.

This outdoor role involves exposure to various weather, noise, and uneven terrain. It requires physical stamina and potential overtime during peak seasons.
