Field Technician I

Installs pathway, support and cable under direction. Terminates and tests copper. Labels and documents to project standards. Requires prior low voltage or cabling experience, or a completed apprenticeship or industry certification.

Field Technician II

Works independently on assigned scope. Terminates and tests copper and fiber. Installs racks, cabinets, devices and head-end equipment. Reads and works from drawings and cut sheets. Requires demonstrated field experience and fiber capability.

Field Technician III

Runs a scope of work and directs junior technicians. Performs fiber splicing, OTDR and certification testing, system commissioning and closeout documentation. Coordinates with the general contractor and other trades on site. Requires substantial field experience and the ability to produce test results and as-built documentation without rework.

What you need

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, work from ladders and lifts, work at heights, kneel and crawl in confined spaces, stand and walk a full shift, and wear required PPE
• OSHA 10 Construction certification before working on general-contractor-controlled sites
• Preferred: BICSI Installer 1 or 2, BICSI Technician, AVIXA CTS, CompTIA Network+ or A+, Cisco CCNA, or a comparable IT, AV or integrated systems credential

Schedule

Five 10-hour days, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with overtime and Saturday work as project schedules require.
