Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Bash scripting, deep knowledge of Linux systems, hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, and a solid background in AWS cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in automating deployment pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters including deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain Bash scripts for automation, monitoring, and system maintenance.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.
• Optimize system performance and ensure infrastructure availability and security.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment processes and application observability.
• Implement and enforce best practices for infrastructure, deployment, and security.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across the stack.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or System Engineering role.
• Proficient in Bash scripting and automation on Linux systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Deep understanding of AWS Cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
• Understanding of networking concepts (VPC, load balancing, DNS, firewalls).
• Experience with GitOps or Helm for Kubernetes deployments.
• Scripting experience in Python or Go is a plus.
• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect) is a plus.
