Pay

$48–$70 per hour, based on experience, subject expertise, and student needs.

Position Overview

Cascade Enrichment is seeking experienced, dependable elementary tutors to work one-on-one with elementary-aged students in the student’s home. Tutors travel to students’ homes within the community, create a supportive and encouraging learning environment, and partner with families to help students build confidence and strengthen foundational academic skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, engaging instruction in reading, writing, phonics, and/or elementary math tailored to each student
• Travel to students’ homes for scheduled tutoring sessions
• Support foundational literacy and math skill development using age-appropriate strategies
• Create a positive, respectful, and motivating learning environment
• Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to teach
• Communicate clearly and professionally with parents regarding student progress and material covered
• Maintain professionalism in students’ homes and in the community
• Follow Cascade Enrichment policies and expectations

Scheduling

• Part-time, hourly position
• Tutors choose their own availability
• Most sessions occur after school and on weekends

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong background in elementary education or child development (college-level coursework or equivalent experience)
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• Reliable transportation for in-home sessions
• Professional communication and time-management skills
• Ability to pass a background check
