Job Overview

Carter Psychology Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Forensic Psychologist to join our growing behavioral health team in Bradenton, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to provide forensic assessment to a diverse population while maintaining a healthy work–life balance in a hybrid schedule.


The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in forensic assessment.

Duties


  • Conduct comprehensive forensic evaluations to determine competency.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and document patient progress thoroughly.
  • Maintain clinical documentation.
  • Willing/Able to travel to attorney offices to conduct evaluations if required.


Qualifications

  • Required
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology.
  • Active (or license-eligible) independent license in Florida such as:
  • Licensed (Or License-Eligible) Psychologist
  • Competence with forensic assessment and treatment planning.
  • Comfort using technology for telehealth sessions and electronic medical records.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.


Schedule & Work Environment

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, with some flexibility in designing your hours to support both patient access and your own work–life balance.
  • Work Setting:
  • Outpatient private practice in Bradenton, with a hybrid model (in-person and telehealth).
  • Strong administrative support for scheduling, billing, and other non-clinical tasks.
  • Collegial, supportive clinical team with opportunities for collaboration and professional growth.
