About Us:

Carolina Farm Trust is committed to building a resilient local food system by connecting communities to fresh, local food. Our weekly pop-up markets in West Charlotte's Thomasboro-Hoskins community and Uptown Charlotte make regional produce, proteins, and fresh baked goods accessible to everyone while supporting local farms.


Responsibilities:

  1. Pop-Up Market Preparation and Set-Up
  • Organize and load market materials and products.
  • Transport items to the pop-up market site.
  • Set up market displays for an inviting and well-organized layout.
  1. Pop-Up Market Execution
  • Handle cash and digital payments accurately.
  • Engage customers and share information about Carolina Farm Trust and the products offered.
  1. Pop-Up Market Break-Down and Clean-Up
  • Safely pack up remaining inventory and market materials.
  • Clean the market site and return items to storage.
  • Assist with inventory tracking and post-market reporting.


Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry items (up to 50 lbs).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Prior experience in customer service or retail is a plus.


Compensation:

  • Hourly pay - $21/hour
  • Opportunity to work in a mission-driven organization and support local agriculture.
