Location: Lewis Center, OH – On-site

Compensation: $140,000-$160,000 base salary + performance bonuses.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Director of Manufacturing to oversee and optimize all production operations across our current and expanding facilities (growing from 13K to 36K sq. ft.). This role goes beyond the floor - it's a strategic leadership position focused on process development, KPI ownership, and scaling throughput through better data, systems, and people.

You’ll be key in helping build out our next-gen manufacturing footprint, scaling up our teams and operations, and building a world-class system for quality, yield, efficiency, and growth. Key Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing and production operations across facilities (13K sq ft, expanding to 36K sq ft).
• Own and optimize KPIs related to throughput, labor efficiency, yield, and cost.
• Build and refine SOPs for all production processes; ensure adherence and continuous improvement.
• Manage and mentor the QC team (3 direct reports), ensuring USDA/FDA/SQF compliance and top-tier product quality.
• Partner closely with the Warehouse Operations Manager
• Oversee procurement prioritization and ensure strategic purchasing aligned with production needs.
• Guide the successful setup and launch of the new facility within a 6–12 month timeline.
• Use ERP and other manufacturing resource systems to drive data transparency and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a manufacturing leadership role, ideally in CPG, food, or manufacturing production.
• Deep understanding of dehydration-based manufacturing processes (a strong plus).
• Experience in USDA & FDA-regulated food environments.
• Fluent in ERP systems
• Strong analytical skills; comfortable converting labor and process data into actionable insights.
• Experience scaling facilities, teams, and operations in a fast-growth company.
