We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team and play a pivotal role in our growth journey. This position offers future upside potential to develop and execute the go-to-market strategy, as well as build and lead a sales team.
Position Summary: As our first Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving the sales efforts for our healthcare SaaS solutions. You will work closely with the leadership team to define and implement a go-to-market strategy, develop and manage key client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our customer base. This role offers significant potential for career advancement, including the opportunity to build and lead a sales team as the company continues to expand. This is a fully remote position.
● Lead Generation and Business Development: Identify and target potential clients, including self-insured employers and education consortiums.
● Client Acquisition: Guide prospects through a strategic sales journey, culminating in successful deal closures.
● Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, and maintain accurate records in our CRM system.
● Sales Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and updates to the leadership team, highlighting key metrics, progress, and opportunities
● Sales Strategy (future): Collaborate with the leadership team to develop a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives and market positioning.
● Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers within target organizations.
● Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our healthcare SaaS solutions and effectively communicate their value proposition to clients.
● Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market dynamics to adapt and refine sales strategies accordingly.
● Team-Building and Leadership (future): Set recruiting strategy for sales team growth, including territory splits, commission structure, sales targets, etc.
● B.A. in Business or similar area of study is highly preferred
● Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the healthcare or SaaS industry
● Has experience working in a startup environment
● Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects
● Familiarity with Hubspot is a significant plus
● Familiarity with self-funded, self-insured employers and employer groups is a significant plus.
● A team player who will work collaboratively and who can also work independently and without supervision
● Experience in building and leading a sales team is a significant plus
