Pixel Canvas is looking for a strong operator who will assist on guiding key strategic initiatives and driving high-impact performance throughout Pixel Canvas, and support our ability to deliver the best product and fulfillment outcomes to our customers. This is a 6-month temporary position, to potentially regular hire position. In this high leverage position, you’ll report to the COO, as well as work cross-functionally with key stakeholders from across the business, including product, projects, engineering, sales, marketing, and client services. You’ll have hands-on experiences in company operations, such as HR, finance, accounting, vendors management, and legal. As a core member of the Operations Team, you serve as the connective tissue of the organization, to drive cross-functional alignment, guiding and introduce processes to enable company growth, execution, and operational effectiveness at scale. The Operations Team is the backbone of Pixel Canvas. It supports the leadership and the organization to tackle critical business challenges by bringing a combination of strategy, structure, processes, and execution rigor. Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Support operating cadence of executive reviews, and weekly syncs. Update agenda, create reporting templates and documentations, track overall performance metrics
  • Support the preparation and development of monthly MBRs, sales pipeline reviews, client reviews, product roadmap, team performance reviews, and business updates with senior leadership teams
  • Create clear and organized documentations. 
  • Identify bottlenecks and problems. Build processes to maximize efficiency to meet the business objectives 
  • Monitor daily operations, product, and program management. Facilitate cross-functional department communication to ensure alignment of company-level initiatives, OKRs, and product roadmap
  • Support with prioritization of initiatives, and the management of operational activities including workforce planning, budgeting, material and resources allocation across departments
  • Take into account the needs of external and internal stakeholders and incorporate them into new strategic plans. Create initiatives, and ensures the strategy and execution are in lock-step
  • Support lead generation and sales prospecting
  • Execute HR hiring plans. Implement onboarding, training, and offboarding procedures. Monitor timesheets and workforce, and provide constructive feedback for both employees and contractors. Supervise the Improvements of work environments, compliances, and company policies
  • Monitor accounting and financial information. Assessing and analyzing operational and departmental budgets, conducting cost-benefit analysis, and recommending solutions that will improve company profitability
  • Manage company legal and administrative matters, including coordinating with company lawyers, ensuring all legal compliances and company insurance status are up to date, managing company mails and government correspondence 
  • Inspiring and motivating employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives
  • Identifying opportunities and industry trends to expand or shift the course of the product vision to take advantage of changes in the market.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of one (1) year of experience in Technology, SaaS, eCommerce, Gaming, interactive platforms, Metaverse, and blockchain field
  • Three (3) years experience of in workforce planning, managing internal and external stakeholders, and cross-functional business operations, particularly with Finance, HR, Legal, Product, Projects, Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing teams
  • An MBA is preferred, not required
  • Experience working in high-growth SaaS startups is a plus
  • Strong financial analytical, modeling, budgeting, writing, and software skills (CRM, project management, accounting, hr related software)
  • Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines, especially in Tech and SaaS
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and know when to use leadership skills to influence all different types of people
  • Strong adaptability to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities accordingly
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, analytical, and problem-solving mindset. 
  • Ability to strategically structure and use frameworks, data, and quantitative skills to break down complex problems into clear steps and plans
  • Exceptional follow-through and high level of accountability and proactivity
  • Must be based in Southern California, able to work hybrid in Los Angeles.
