Job Description:
Carbon Mapper is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer with strong cloud infrastructure experience to support implementation of our Data Platform using the cloud native best practices. This engineer will work with our Data Platform team to deliver CI/CD pipelines, test automation, observability and monitoring for the Data Platform cloud services. The ideal candidate would have experience using infrastructure-as-code within the AWS, GitHub, and Linux environment.

Hours: This is a full-time salaried position (40 hours per week). You are expected to be available Monday through Thursday 9 am - 3 pm PT. The remaining time is flexible based on your assigned projects and deadlines. Some after hours and weekend work may be required to meet deadlines.
Location: Carbon Mapper has a distributed team with both in-person and remote workers. Employees living within 30 miles of the Pasadena, CA area are requested to be in the office at least 2 days per week. All employees will attend quarterly in-person meetings at Carbon Mapper headquarters.
