**Responsibilities:**

- Process payroll data accurately and in a timely manner

- Calculate wages, deductions, and bonuses

- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll

- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve any payroll discrepancies

- Maintain accurate payroll records

- Stay up-to-date on payroll best practices and regulations

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a payroll clerk or similar role

- Proficient in payroll software and MS Excel

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Knowledge of state and federal payroll regulations

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
