Responsibilities:

• Bring your best technical and artistic abilities to Capacity projects.
• Collaborate seamlessly with fellow remote team members.
• Support the team by developing pipelines + tools required for efficient production and delivery of projects.
• Work closely with directors and other artists to help bring creative visions to life.
• Create high quality, attractive visuals that resonate with our target audiences, impress our clients, and inspire the rest of the team.

General requirements:

• Master-level experience using Unreal Engine to create high-fidelity visuals including strong working knowledge of:
• Blueprints, editor scripts, and utilities.
• Sequencer and MRQ / MRG workflows for offline linear content as well as real-time applications.
• Scene optimization for real-time performance with high-fidelity visuals.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve bugs and visual artifacts.
• Rigging and animation toolset including control rig.
• VFX solutions including Niagara + Chaos dynamics (cloth, hair, fracture sims). Bonus points for Niagara gas/fluids as well as using external packages (Embergen).
• Procedural workflows including PCG, modular control rigs, and material graphs for PBR and NPR workflows.
• Experience creating high-end cinematics / animations, ideally for AAA games.
• Experience with character-based, motion capture + animation workflows.
• Any generalist experience with lighting or environments would be appreciated.
• Critical thinking / problem solving skills.
• Proactive approach, requiring minimal supervision.
• Ability to successfully give, receive, and apply creative feedback.
• Personality and communication skills to thrive in a team environment.
• Grit, determination, and a sense of deep pride in your work.
• Desire to be a part of the creative process at all levels, including asset creation.
• Passion for storytelling / video games / animation / film.
