On-Call Box Office Staff

Reports To: Box Office Manager

Department: Venue Operations

Location: Cannonball Arts + LVL1 Music Venue, Seattle, WA

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Schedule: Part-Time / On-Call (average 2-4 shifts per month)

Shifts: Primarily Friday and Saturday evenings; additional shifts as events are scheduled

Position Summary

The On-Call Box Office Staff is responsible for delivering a positive and efficient ticketing experience for guests attending concerts and events at Cannonball Arts and the LVL1 Music Venue. This role manages will call, ticket sales, and guest check-in with professionalism and accuracy, ensuring seamless entry and exceptional customer service.

This is an on-call position ideal for someone who enjoys live events and can jump in as part of the team during our busiest show nights.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate point-of-sale and ticketing systems to sell tickets and manage will call efficiently.
  • Verify ticket authenticity, process guest entry, and resolve ticketing or scanning issues.
  • Greet guests and provide venue and event information with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling and credit card transaction procedures.
  • Support pre-show and post-show box office setup and breakdown, including signage, equipment, and supply management.
  • Collaborate with the FOH and Security teams to ensure smooth guest flow and adherence to venue policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest and artist information.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Cannonball Arts and LVL1, upholding our standards for hospitality, accessibility, and inclusion.

Qualifications

  • Prior box office or ticketing experience preferred, including experience with systems such as SeeTickets, Ticketmaster, or similar.
  • Experience working in live music venues, theaters, or sporting arenas strongly preferred.
  • Technical acumen with the ability to troubleshoot ticket platform or scanning issues in real time.
  • Experience with ticket settlements is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable handling cash and POS transactions accurately.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time, on-call position averaging 4 shifts per month, with the majority of events taking place Friday and Saturday evenings.

  • Event schedules are published at least three weeks in advance.
  • Additional shifts may be available based on event scheduling and staff availability.


Salary

$25 - $25 per hour
