Cannonball Arts is seeking experienced, high-energy bartenders to join our event team. With up to 21 points of sale and a festival-style pace, our bartenders serve fast, stay cool under pressure, and help create exceptional guest experiences during concerts, private events, and more. This is a part-time, event-based role ideal for service pros who thrive in dynamic, high-volume environments.

Pay Rate: $20.76 p/hour + tips

Position Summary:

Cannonball Arts is a 2,000+ capacity live music and arts venue in downtown Seattle, built for bold experiences—from warehouse-style concerts to private events and immersive performances. We operate with the speed, energy, and unpredictability of a festival, and we’re building a team that can rise to that challenge.


Event-Based Bartenders are responsible for providing exceptional service, maintaining bar operations, and creating a welcoming, efficient, and high-volume service environment during concerts and events. Whether it’s a sold-out show with 21 speed bars in action or a high-touch private event, you bring focus, hustle, and hospitality every time you step behind the bar.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and break down bar stations for events, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
  • Serve beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails with accuracy and speed, adhering to all alcohol service laws.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and hospitality throughout the event.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions using the venue’s POS system.
  • Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory tracking as needed.
  • Follow venue policies and procedures, including ID checks and responsible alcohol service.
  • Communicate effectively with bar leads, barbacks, security, and event staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years bartending experience in a high-volume setting (event, music venue, or festival experience preferred).
  • Valid [State] MAST Permit (or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification).
  • Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing for long periods.
  • Comfortable working late nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Bonus Points For:

  • Familiarity with event production environments.
  • Experience using Toast, Square, or other POS systems.
  • Knowledge of craft cocktails and beer.
