We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to become an integral part of our team! Join a fast-growing industrial supplies distributor looking for someone willing to learn and perform routine bookkeeping, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. This position will start out part-time with the potential to become full-time as the company continues to scale.


  • Weekly entry of vendor/supplier invoices for payment
  • Answer vendor/supplier inquiries and review statements monthly
  • Monthly bookkeeping/data entry including entering credit card and bank transactions, journal entries, etc. into our ERP Software program
  • Help review customer statements and follow up with customers on past due invoices
  • Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards


  • Previous experience in billing, finance, or other related fields is a plus
  • Experience in data entry
  • Knowledge of standard accounting procedures
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask


$18 - $25 per hour
