Candeeland is looking to hire a full-time ASSISTANT MANAGER for our new location inside the Burbank Town Center mall located at 201 E. Magnolia Blvd STE 397, Burbank, CA 91504.

Position: Assistant Manager

Position Type: Full Time – Weekends Required

Start Date: Mar 28 - April 15

Pay: $25.00/hr + Bonuses

Job Duties:

• Assist the store manager with a team of 10+ employees
• Assist in training new employees in a high turnover environment
• Open and close the store along with manager and select associates
• Assist associates with all daily operations including parties, safety checks, cleaning schedules, and customer service counters
• Maintain a positive and happy environment for all customers and employees
• Reconcile any customer issues and escalate to manager if necessary
• Assume manager duties on days that manager is off
• Operate a POS device and accurately handle cash transactions
• Stock prepackaged food and serve preheated food to customers
• Perform cleaning procedures immediately for spills and accidents

Requirements:

• 2+ years of supervisor experience in a retail/entertainment environment
• Must work weekends as this is the busiest time of the week
• Superior customer service skills with young children and parents
• Ability to assist in leading a team of 10+ employees to create a memorable guest experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distracting conditions
• Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces. The employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time. In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle, feel and reach into tight spaces. Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is also required on a regular basis.
