As a Medical Assistant, your primary responsibility is to operate in tandem with a physician to guide patients through their visit and manage overall patient flow through the exam rooms. You will develop a rhythm with the physician and develop processes to ensure all information is gathered and necessary procedures are performed without duplication and in an efficient and pleasant manner for the patient.

The employee may be exposed to some hazards such as radiation, bodily fluids that may contain disease, fumes from laboratory chemicals, and hazardous medications.
