Your daily adventures will include:
- Serving as the in-house editor of our content engine, working across departments to brainstorm topics that will resonate with our various audiences
- Leveraging the talents of our SMEs and writes to create super-engaging content that showcases not only our product, but our clients’ successes and best practices, positioning us as the leader in the family engagement and higher education spaces
- Developing the various distribution channels at your disposal, including our website blog, webinar series, downloadable resources, newsletter, and social media, as well as identifying new and fun ways to communicate with prospects and customers
- Helping identify intent and leads coming through these channels
- Harnessing content to build nurture cadences and programs that foster relationships with new leads and drive them to pipeline
- Maintaining our website, ensuring this critical channel is up-to-date, optimized, and performing to build interest and capture potential buyers
- Being a joint owner of key marketing metrics and continually developing strategies to meet and exceed plans for company growth
Qualifications:
- You have 7+ years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B (higher education and/or SaaS experience a plus).
- You have strong writing skills; not only can you hook someone with a good story, you can turn more complicated and data-heavy information into an understandable, even enjoyable read.
- Demand gen is your jam. You get the concept of providing value first and pushing a product second, and know if you do the first well, the second comes easier.
- You have managed content marketing campaigns from start to finish — strategy to creation to distribution to analytics.
- You love to think outside the box. Why do the same old thing when you can bring something exciting and surprising to life?
- You have experience hitting or exceeding goals and targets. Having to deliver doesn’t scare you — in fact, it drives you.
- The “start-up life” is appealing to you. You’re excited by the prospect of working with a small team, getting to try your hand at new things, and seeing the real impact of your efforts.
- You’re highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities.
