The Pipe Fitter / Custom Fabricator at Cameo Fabricators, Inc. is responsible for laying out, measuring, cutting, beveling, fitting, and tacking custom pipe assemblies, specialized branch fittings, and pressure components. Working in a high-precision shop environment, this role interprets complex engineering blueprints and isometric drawings to fabricate custom fittings (including 45°/90° laterals, hot tap tees, true wyes, split tees, paddle blinds, spacers, and custom flanges) adhering strictly to ASME, ANSI, and customer material specifications.
Layout & Assembly: Interpret detailed manufacturing blueprints, isometric drawings, and job travelers to perform calculations, layout branch connections, cut points, angles, and fit-up allowances for custom pipe fabrications.
Specialty Component Fitting: Precision-fit heavy-wall pipe, flanges, 45° and reinforced laterals, hot tap tees, wyes, crosses, drip/bleed rings, and custom spools prior to final welding.
