Description

Duties

  • Checking in patients, scheduling patients, and following up on appointment requests.
  • Capture vital signs and medication reconciliation for all in person visits.
  • Ensure patient questionnaires and screeners are completed upon check in for in person and telehealth visits.
  • Perform injections and body composition scans per provider orders.
  • Conduct MA/nurse visits such as injections and blood pressure checks.
  • Conduct MA/nurse teaching visits such as continuous glucose monitoring, hormone monitoring, Zio patch application, and injection teaching.
  • Process in house lab specimens including urinalysis and wet prep.
  • Process and send out in-clinic collected specimens such as Paps, vulvovaginitis swabs, urine cultures.
  • Assist with procedures.
  • Perform phlebotomy for in house collection of blood draws and coordinate invoicing with office manager.
  • Triage all patients messages via triage protocol.
  • Refill non-controlled substances based on refill protocol.
  • Assess appropriateness for controlled substance refills and send to provider
  • Perform medication reconciliation for all telehealth visits and ensure patient is able to log on for telehealth appointment


Requirements

  • Current RMA, CMA, LPN, or RN license.
  • Ability to work in person at least 2 but up to 4 days per week.
  • Comfortability with sensitive topics.
  • Ability to abide by HIPAA laws and patient privacy.
  • Ability to abide by regulatory agency policies.
  • Timeliness, honesty, and a good sense of humor.


Required Skills

  • Venipuncture and phlebotomy.
  • Electronic Medical Record proficiency.

Salary

$20 - $23 per hour
