Essential Responsibilities
The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Pick up children from school safely and on time.
- Transport children home.
- Supervise children after school while providing a safe, positive, and nurturing environment.
- Assist with homework, reading, and educational activities appropriate for each child's age.
- Prepare and serve healthy after-school snacks.
- Encourage age-appropriate independence, responsibility, and good manners.
- Keep children's backpacks, school materials, and activity items organized.
- Help maintain children's play areas and common spaces in a neat and orderly condition.
- Communicate updates regarding homework, behavior, and any concerns.
- Exercise sound judgment in emergency situations and promptly communicate any issues to parents.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working with children in a tutor, childcare, or similar role.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable personal transportation and proof of automobile insurance.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record check.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Schedule
This is a part-time position, generally Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday during after-school hours. Additional hours may occasionally be available during school holidays, teacher workdays, or summer break by mutual agreement.
