Description

Our Values in Action

We believe mental health care should be accessible, affirming, and responsive to the needs of our community. We intentionally work to reduce financial barriers by accepting most major insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare, and maintaining a sliding scale program.

Cairn has a strong commitment to trauma-informed care and supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples, and families. We strive to provide care that is inclusive, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices.

We also value the unique strengths each clinician brings to the practice and actively support therapists in developing specialty populations, treatment approaches, and areas of expertise that align with their professional goals. We believe the strongest clinical teams are united by shared values while bringing diverse perspectives, interests, and passions to their work.

What Makes Us Different

  • Compensation for documentation, supervision, meetings, and marketing — not just client sessions
  • A commitment to accessible care through broad insurance participation, including Medicaid and Medicare
  • Freedom to develop your own clinical niche and specialty populations
  • Active referral and caseload-building support
  • Transparent career pathways and opportunities for advancement

Who Thrives at Cairn?

The clinicians who thrive at Cairn have developed confidence in their clinical work and are eager to share what they’ve learned. They’re thoughtful and steady when working with complex presentations, know when to seek consultation, and enjoy helping newer therapists find their footing. They value collaboration, welcome different perspectives, and take ownership of their clients’ care and their own continued growth. They’re also passionate about making quality mental health care more accessible and creating an affirming space for people from diverse backgrounds, identities, and life experiences.
