Although we are young hospital, many of the staff have been in the industry for almost a decade if not more. Job Overview:

Cactus Pet Hospital LLC is seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our furry patients and supporting our veterinarians in delivering exceptional service to our clients. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $22 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.

Our clinic is dedicated to providing exceptional care for animals while fostering a flexible, low-stress environment that prioritizes work-life balance. Our practice emphasizes flexible scheduling, ensuring that everyone has time for themselves, enjoy stress-free lunches, and leave on time at the end of the day. 

We are a paperless practice and utilize AI radiology/cytology, Companian Animal laser, Clarius portable ultrasound, HTVista, and many up to date technology.

Responsibilities:

- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures

- Perform laboratory tests, such as blood work and urinalysis

- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed

- Monitor and record vital signs of patients

- Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment plans

- Maintain accurate medical records

- Assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of the hospital and equipment

Requirements:

- Active license as a Veterinary Technician

- Preferred 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting

- Strong knowledge of animal care and handling

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
