We are currently looking to fill shifts on Monday through Sunday. Must be able to work one weekend day a week.

What to Expect as a Perenn Bakery Barista

• Provide a curated experience for guests by leading them through product information and recommendations in a welcoming and hospitable manner
• Create high-quality, consistent, and enjoyable coffee, tea, and alcoholic beverages while maintaining a comfortable and efficient flow
• Prepare ingredients, pull espresso shots, steam milks, and top beverages accordingly
• Deliver drinks to customers in a timely manner ensuring they receive the correct beverage
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and tidy workspace
• Report inventory needs to ensure all products are maintained in stock
• Help guests select items from the pastry counter and bread shelves
• Package purchases when necessary
• Input orders into the POS/register
• Guide guests with information about how their order will be delivered (assigned number system)
• Run drinks and food
• Bus tables
• Complete opening, mid-day, and closing cleaning duties
• Maintain knowledge of pastries, grocery goods, menu items, and location offerings
• We’re busy! Expect to help guests and co-workers consistently with a smile and positive attitude
• Escalate issues to management when necessary
• Other duties as assigned

About You

• 21 years or older due to the handling and serving of alcohol
• Minimum of 1 year barista experience
• Experience in a retail, restaurant, or customer service environment
• Effective time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Proactive communication skills
• Willingness to go the extra mile

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Must be able to lift, balance, and to carry items weighing up to 25 pounds
