Business Integration Group (BiG) is looking for a Senior PeopleSoft Developer to join the BiG team. The ideal candidate will participate in development, integration and deployment of solutions. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting application solutions and re-engineered components based on client requirements. The ideal candidate will perform business and technical designer functions, including making contributions to business and technical architecture components of the enterprise solution.

Description

Required Qualifications


  • TS.SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph required
  • Provides research, analysis and recommendations when new functional business processes or software upgrades are needed and develops new technical solutions, products, and/or standards in support of business strategy and operations.
  • Involved in all aspects from customizing deployments, cutovers, defect remediation and post implementation production support
  • Work with Functional teams to help make decisions on best technical practices for application design
  • Writes technical specifications, configures, customizes, builds and tests PeopleSoft configuration and customizations.
  • Integrates PeopleSoft application software over data management systems and supporting components and services.
  • Troubleshoots operational and systems issues ranging from difficult to highly complex, including problems with multiple solutions and potential significant consequences.
  • Ensures performance optimization
  • Interprets requirements, performs highly complex analyses and presents options and recommendations to obtain desired results
  • Designs, plans, tests and implements remediation's which meet functional and technical specifications of a large PeopleSoft  HR application
  • Conducts Unit testing and resolve issues found in testing
  • Meets deadlines and manages multiple, dynamic priorities
  • Effectively communicates and demonstrated experience working in a team-oriented environment

     

Optional Qualifications


  • Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2
  • Possess prior experience of supporting large scale organizations with successful ERP implementation(s)
  • 7 + years of PeopleSoft development experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of technical experience with PeopleTools 8.55 or above
  • Experience in drafting technical design specifications and test plans for application modifications or customizations
  • Extensive experience with PeopleTools, including Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Application Packages, Component Interfaces, SQR, and Query. Familiarity with Portal Technology and Workflow
  • Extensive experience with writing complex SQL statements and designing modules from scratch
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership
  • Must have strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem solving skills

$150,000 - $200,000 per year
