Overview

As a credentialed CBT/RBT, you will provide individualized behavioral support in schools, implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under BCBA supervision. This role is ideal for certified behavioral technicians who are passionate about student growth, classroom support, and advancing their careers in ABA and education.


Role Overview

CBTs/RBTs work closely with students in one-to-one or small group settings to support behavioral, social-emotional, and academic development. This role requires active certification, data collection, and collaboration with teachers, BCBAs, and school staff. CBTs/RBTs play a critical role in maintaining consistency and fidelity of interventions, helping students meet individualized goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under BCBA supervision.
  • Collect, record, and analyze student data to track progress and inform intervention strategies.
  • Provide direct behavioral and academic support to students in classrooms and small group settings.
  • Promote positive behaviors, social interactions, and skill development.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, district teams, and BECS supervisors.
  • Assist in classroom routines, transitions, and maintaining a structured learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold confidentiality standards.
  • Participate in training, professional development, and BCBA supervision sessions.

Requirements for CBT/RBT Roles

  • Active CBT certification (WA State) or RBT certification (National).
  • ABA or behavioral health experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • High school diploma required; college or advanced degree preferred.
  • Clean criminal record and ability to pass federal fingerprinting background check.
  • Reliable transportation (personal vehicle required; not public transit).
  • Three professional references verifying attendance and reliability.


Work Locations

Please note: The term “remote” refers to variable work locations across multiple counties rather than a work-from-home position. Specific cities and worksites are determined during the interview and placement process. Our services currently extend throughout the greater Puget Sound region, including Pierce, King, Snohomish, Skagit, Thurston, Lewis, Chelan, and Douglas Counties.
