Location: Assigned school locations across Washington State


Role Overview

Full-Time Tier 1 Paraeducators maintain classroom stability and student learning throughout the school year. This role is ideal for individuals committed to regular attendance, building strong relationships with students, and ensuring continuity in educational and behavioral support. Assignments are dedicated to specific classrooms or students, fostering trust and consistent progress.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to students in classrooms and school environments.
  • Assist with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs under teacher supervision.
  • Support classroom routines, supervision, and daily activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, supervisors, and families.
  • Document incidents, progress, and student outcomes accurately and promptly.
  • Adapt to classroom needs while maintaining consistency for assigned students.

Requirements for All BECS Roles

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clean criminal record and ability to pass federal fingerprinting background check.
  • Reliable transportation (personal vehicle required; not public transit).
  • Three professional references verifying attendance and reliability.
  • Crisis intervention certification (CPI, Right Response, Safety Care) is highly desirable.


Work Locations

Please note: The term “remote” refers to variable work locations across multiple counties rather than a work-from-home position. Specific cities and worksites are determined during the interview and placement process. Our services currently extend throughout the greater Puget Sound region, including Pierce, King, Snohomish, Skagit, Thurston, Lewis, Chelan, and Douglas Counties.
