Summary
The people working the register are the first people members and customers experience when they walk into the store. Good customer service is essential to working on the register. The ability to learn a computer system, solve small issues and work well in a fast-paced environment is also vital to this role.
Status: Reports to Front End Manager and Supervisors

Customer Service
- Being friendly, welcoming, and helpful to customers.
- Keeps the register flow going smoothly by efficiently checking people out
- Answer customer questions and directing them to a supervisor as appropriate.
- Handles cash and change appropriately.
- Helps customers locate products.
Team Member
- Arrives to work on time and ready to work when scheduled
- Takes breaks appropriately in coordination with the supervisor and the team
- Works together to complete the closing task list
Store
- Knows how to work the register functions appropriate to their role.
- Familiarizes themselves with the products and their locations.
- Follows the direction of the supervisor in doing other tasks when the register is slow
- Keep the front of the store swept and tidy as needed throughout the day.
- Front and face the store as time allows.
