Compensation: Commission-based with a recoverable base draw against future commissions.

About the Role

Budget Blinds is seeking a motivated, professional In-Home Design Consultant to help homeowners enhance their spaces with custom window coverings. This is a consultative, in-home sales role, not a retail or showroom position.

You’ll meet clients in their homes, understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and guide them through the purchasing process. We provide qualified leads — your role is to build trust, design solutions, and close sales.


What You’ll Do

  • Conduct in-home design consultations with residential customers
  • Measure windows and recommend custom window treatment solutions
  • Present product options, pricing, and design ideas clearly and confidently
  • Build strong customer relationships and guide purchasing decisions
  • Manage appointments, proposals, and follow-ups
  • Coordinate with our operations team to ensure a smooth customer experience


What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort working in a face-to-face sales environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Self-motivated with excellent time-management skills
  • Willingness to learn product knowledge and basic design concepts
  • Valid driver’s license and comfort driving a company vehicle
  • Basic technology skills (tablet, email, CRM)


Sales experience is a plus, but not required - we provide training for the right candidate.


Compensation & Perks

  • $60,000–$150,000+ annual earning potential
